Sienna Golden Malik

Creative Content Marketer, Screenwriter, Essayist

United States

I am an Orlando-based writer with strong research and editing skills. Since finishing my MFA in nonfiction writing at the University of Central Florida, I have held full-time writing roles in the hospitality and corporate social responsibility fields. In these roles, I've written everything from menu descriptions to entertaining blogs to white papers.

I also am a screenwriter whose feature scripts "By the Dashboard Light" and "Mile Zero" have placed in the top 100 of international competitions. Screenwriting has given me an opportunity to strengthen my comedy skills and has taught me how to mirror natural speech in everything that I write.

Joseph Ducreux: First Painter to the Web

With his hat cocked back, body tilted away from his cane, and right forefinger pointing directly at his audience, Joseph Ducreux commands the attention of those viewing his self-portrait. Despite the wrinkles lining the subject's eyes, and his apparent need for a walking stick, his 1793 oil painting exudes a youthful, smug confidence.

For Youth Activities Counselors aboard my cruise ship, seeing consecutive blocks of "WASH" on the schedule could be a nightmare. We'd signed onto ship life because we wanted to goof off with kids all day, maybe revise our own childhoods to include copious amounts of adventure and sunshine.
