Scott Weenink is a New Zealand-based investor, company director and former corporate finance lawyer, with a career spanning financial services, funds management, telecommunications and technology across New Zealand, Asia and the Middle East.

He is Chair of Punakaiki Fund and Xceda Capital Group, a founding shareholder and former Chair of Generate, one of New Zealand’s largest KiwiSaver providers. His investment interests include Generate, Xceda, Modica and CricketPass. He is also a trustee of St Cuthbert’s College.

Earlier in his career, Scott held senior legal and executive roles at Ooredoo Group, Auckland Airport and Modica Group, having begun as a mergers and acquisitions lawyer admitted in New Zealand, Australia and the United Kingdom. He was Chief Executive Officer of New Zealand Cricket from 2023 to 2026 and holds a Master of Studies in Law from the University of Oxford.
