Sophomore Estelle Katende continued her impressive campaign in her signature event, posting a toss of 13.89 meters (45'7") in the shot put to claim gold.

Trio Takes Home NEC Accolades - Robert Morris University Athletics

Moon Township, Pa. - Zoe Roush, Sam Buck and Estelle Katende earned postseason recognition from the Northeast Conference following their performances at the 2019 NEC Indoor Track and Field Championships. Roush was named the Co-Most Outstanding Rookie of the Meet, picking up All-Rookie honors in the long jump and triple jump, while Buck and Katende were All-NEC First Team selections in the weight throw and shot put, respectively.

Moon boys soccer makes Senior Night a success

By Sam Buck The Moon Area High School boys varsity soccer team (5-3- 7) hosted Hopewell High School (2-1- 12), and the Senior Night was a successful one as the Tigers won, 6-0. In first twenty-five minutes of the game, all the seniors on the team dominated the field.

OLSH girls bow in WPIAL final, prep for PIAAs

By Sam Buck For the third time in school history, the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart girls volleyball team has advanced to Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association Championships. The Chargers earned the honor even though they lost the WPIAL championship match in three sets to Bishop Canevin High School.
