Welcome to my portfolio! My name is Sammy Smith. I'm a writer, world traveler, cat mama, and coffee drinker. After earning my BA in English/Creative Writing from the University of Utah, I have been busy traveling to exotic locations including Guatemala, Egypt, Zimbabwe, France, and the Netherlands. I'm always eagerly planning my next big adventure with a notebook in-hand as my favorite travel companion.

I have spent most of my professional career in copywriting, particularly in the eCommerce world. I also attended DevMountain in 2019 and received a certificate in UX Design. I loved learning more about the user experience and have found ways to incorporate that knowledge into my writing.

Most recently, I am working at Jane.com writing marketing emails, blogs, social media ads, landing pages, and more. I've highlighted some of the work I've done here.
