Rue LaFrance

Aspiring Journalist | Motorsports & Storytelling

United States

Journalism student and digital storyteller with the core of a poet and a passion for the fast lane. A keen interest in the intersection between high-octane sports and human stories. My work has been featured in literary journals, annual print publications and social media: including a Formula 1-focused TikTok page that has amassed over 1.6 million likes and 10.8k+ followers since its recent inception.

I’m drawn to the heart: capturing the human spirit, and working towards accessibility and education in motorsport and media—whether I’m covering an underdog victory in a high school yearbook, filming short-form online content that fosters a community of passionate sports fans, or sharing personal pieces in a campus journal.

With leadership roles in editorial spaces and innovation in audience engagement, I’m eager to find growth and collaboration in new creative spaces.
