We Love: Wear This Go There: Céline to The Archive Bookstore Fashion and literature have always had a fluid relationship. Characters inspire the catwalk, and in turn writers are fascinated by the trends of the day. In honour of this, we've put together a summer reading list that (for once) doesn't include Go Set the Watchman.
That's Hot: That's Hot: Dani Nailing boho is tricky. It's hard to pull off an eclectic look that is still unified and doesn't look too messy. On the other end of the spectrum there's the sanitised boho look that was championed by various celebrities in the 2000s (here's looking at you Sienna).
We Love: Wear This Go There: Max Mara to Cocomaya Healthy living is everywhere. Instagram seems to be awash with green juice-drinking, yoga pant-wearing foodies. Whilst a health kick can only be a positive thing (although no one can legitimately claim that goji berries taste good) everyone needs a treat once in a while.
That's Hot: That's Hot: Flo This week's That's Hot has a musical spin to it. Flo Morrissey is a twenty-year-old singer who has been writing songs since she was fourteen, and has just released her debut album Tomorrow Will Be Beautiful. It really makes you wonder what you were doing when you were twenty!

It used to be that you had to buy yourself a Harley-Davidson, have a facelift, or both, before you qualified as being in a state of mid-life crisis. Now you just need to turn up to Glastonbury.

Hangers and Loonies go for new police job ONE believes murderers should "have their necks stretched", another had a row with his local force when they confiscated his collection of 350 guns. Then there is the candidate who believes life prisoners should be given the option of "being terminated".

by Prudence Wade It's a new year, and with this comes the inevitable onrush of speculations - what will be the newest food craze this year? The explosion of cupcakes seemingly nowhere and seems like they are here to stay, yet other fads (including the unfortunately named 'whoopie pie') were lauded as a success yet fell as flat as a soufflé.
Grizzly Bear kicked off their English tour in Newcastle and Gateshead. After arriving at the Sage it became increasingly clear that Geordies are perhaps not the biggest fans of indie-folk-psych-rock. Unfortunately turnout wasn't huge and the crowd was noticeably quiet.
Hot Chip - In Our Heads Even if you aren't the biggest fan of electropop or indiesonica (yes, apparently 'indiesonica' is a thing now), Hot Chip would have probably appeared on your radar at some point.
The Durham Food Festival is just a year old. Given the size and quality of the 2012 extravaganza, however, you might easily not have guessed. As the stalls set up in the Gourmet Food Marquee, the tent was abuzz with locals, students, foodies... and those just there for the free samples.
