Hello! I'm currently a digital copywriter for Humana, and previously I have provided guidance on the website redesign work and content direction for the American Medical Association.

Before my work in the digital content realm, I was the direct mail and social media coordinator for the Annual Fund at Northern Illinois University. My position in direct mail has given me the opportunity for more than four years to practice technical writing and editing for both print and web. Additionally, I have been able to create design concepts and artwork for mail, web, and social media packages.

I have a bachelor's degree in journalism from Grand Valley State University, and a master's degree in English with a focus on technical writing and rhetoric from Northern Illinois University, where I completed my master's thesis on the rhetorical uses of hashtags on Twitter.

I hail from Michigan originally, but I have been happily living in Illinois for over 5 years now.
