March 21, 2017 It was a segment on the news that sparked KC Perkins' interest in color guard. Boulder, Colorado was hosting the 1977 DCI prelim competition. A young KC and her family attended the show. It was the beginning of a lifelong passion that changed KC and has transformed her life into a message of community, connection, charity, and art.

Since WGI Winds inaugural season in 2015, STRYKE Wynds has become an award winning ensemble, placing silver in 2015 and gold in 2016 in Independent Open class. This year, Stryke Wynds made the jump to Independent World class, competing against returning medalists in the class.

Mars Company Reduces Production Of Sweets - The Reporter

According to Mars, Incorporated representatives, by the end of 2013, Mars (makers of Twix, M&Ms, and Snickers) will discontinue all products that exceed 250 calories. Snickers, at 280 calories, will be the first to go. Plans have already been made to replace the king-size bars with bags of two to four smaller bars to "enable sharing or saving a portion for later."
