I'm a self-deprecating Englishman currently living in Michigan with my lovely wife. I'm a gamer first and foremost and doing everything I can to convert my better half. Our cooperative gaming résumé extends as far as Diablo 3 at the moment and we're still going strong.

I was never the smartest kid growing up. Average in all things was about the best I could hope for. But then I developed a passion for the written word. I started to understand the power inherent in language and I realised I could work words like a spell to make all kinds of incredible, magical things happen.

I've ghostwritten for hundreds of companies and I'm on a secret mission to work for companies I love, like Blizzard or the Yogscast. I believe in finding a company you love and then putting your all into working for that company. I'll keep you updated on my progress.

Fiction Writing Sample - Fantasy Genre

This is an example of fiction writing I put together for a novel writing position. The sample sees the main character, Logan Harper confront a female guard at the entrance to an inn he simply must get inside of. After securing passage inside through charm alone he encounters a pair of guards who he most certainly cannot beguile. A brawl ensues and Logan is forced to defend himself in the face of two opponents who know their way around their weapons.
