Matthew Popp

Freelance Writer

United States

Hey there! I'm Matthew Popp: writer and recent graduate from the University of Michigan, where I studied English, Psychology, LGBTQ+ Studies, and Film. I'm most invested in writing and thinking about the entertainment industry and social activism, particularly as they align with ideas about gender and sexuality.

I have a wide range of writing and editing experience, including short- and long-form academic writing, podcast production and scriptwriting, music criticism and event coverage, copywriting, and more. Check out my portfolio for some samples of my work, and don't hesitate to email me with questions.
