MISCELLANEOUS
Telling compelling stories, with journalistic integrity and creative strategy at their foundation, is my primary aim.
I am a veteran writer, editor and communicator, having worked in B2B, B2C and association magazine publishing for 13 years before transitioning to content marketing in 2010. As VP, Content at Imagination, a 22-year-old content marketing agency in Chicago, I manage a crackerjack team of content directors, editors and writers who deliver compelling, executable, multichannel content programs that strategically align with B2B, retail and financial services clients’ business and marketing objectives. I also meet regularly with clients and new business prospects to advocate and build excitement for creative storytelling approaches that audiences will remember—and respond to.
Over the years, I have written and edited hundreds of single- and multi-source articles of various lengths and complexity—including breaking news stories, product reviews, feature articles, case studies, and profiles—for magazines, newsletters, and the web, as well as video and interactive training scripts. I also have served as the editorial director of nearly three dozen case study/conference videos; moderated or hosted four webinars on distance learning, the bring-your-own-device movement, and cloud computing; and moderated or participated as a speaker in sessions at various content marketing, technology and education industry events.
