I am a writer, editor, and writing instructor with over 10 years of experience. Currently, I am a regular contributor to VeryWell Health and Health.com, as well as a remote adjunct instructor and writing coach at George Washington University's School of Medical and Health Sciences. As a health writer, my work has been featured in Men's Health and What's Good by V (Vitamin Shoppe's Blog), and Different Leaf. Previous experiences include content copy and design for Nobilis Health Corp and drafting white papers for Humana Insurance.
Outside of health and medicine, my book reviews, music reviews, and essays have appeared in other publications, including The Rumpus, The Culture Crush, Stamens Pistils Parties, Post-Trash, and others. In addition, I have completed writing and editing assignments for other clients, including Princeton Review and Rizzoli.
2016 saw the publication of my first book of poetry, Everybody's Automat (The Operating System, 2016). In addition, from 2015-7, I served as the Reviews Editor for New York-based literary magazine, Boog City. I live in Western Massachusetts with my wife and cats and play in a post-punk band called Teen Driver.
