Russia & Ukraine - Which aircraft lessors are most impacted by sanctions?

In light of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, world leaders have announced severe economic sanctions on Russian business and international interests. UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced that Russian flag carrier Aeroflot would be banned from operating in UK airspace from Thursday 24 th February 2022, and it is likely similar restrictions will be introduced elsewhere.

How to Verify Airline CO2 Emissions Results

IBA's Carbon Emissions Calculator 'CEC' allows you to evaluate the actions taken by an operator to reduce their carbon footprint, acting as an independent and impartial tool to verify an operator's reported scope 1 emissions reports. We used the CEC to independently crosscheck reported emissions figures for 2019 from 7 airlines and 2 airline groups, covering 14 airlines globally.

Embraer's New Turboprop Targets the North American Regional Jet

Brazilian aircraft manufacturer Embraer has revealed a new turboprop concept which represents a shift in thinking for turboprop design. A 70-90 seat aircraft is proposed to feature aft-mounted engines, and is intended to be pitched as a replacement to 50 seat regional jets.

JetBlue and the Transatlantic Air Travel Market
