Connections Forum: innovations to deliver housing services during COVID-19

Online Event for representatives from Housing Associations and Local Authorities in Scotland ONLY*** COVID-19 imposed restrictions and new challenges upon the housing sector. At this virtual Connections Forum, you will have the opportunity to learn how our technology can help you overcome lockdown restrictions. *** Event held via Microsoft Teams with 15 guests. Revive Seminar to debate impacts of domestic abuse legislation

Event organisation to promote different services and products provided by Home Connections. One example was the Revive Seminar to discuss housing options for domestic abuse survivor. In 2 years, over 10 events were held, with a range of 15 to 50 attendees and support was giving to national exhibits at external conferences, such as CIH Scotland's Housing Festival and Housing Conference in Manchester.

A new decade to transform access to social housing

Home Connections has offered technological solutions for housing providers and local authorities for nearly 20 years. The concept behind this mailer was to demonstrate how Home Connections has always been ahead in terms of innovation by writing a thought leadership article on how technology will improve access to public services in the next decade. This mailer had a 14% open rate with a 9% click rate, generating warm leads for the Sales team through a softer approach.

From couch surfing to permanent home

Video production to promote Homefinder UK, a national mobility scheme that offers relocation options for homeless people, domestic abuse survivors, social tenants in Temporary Accommodation. Work included booking and doing the interviews, liaising with videographer, writing briefs, reviewing & finalising videos edit. Other videos produced: Moving to South Shields, Access to Sheltered Housing Made Easy, Revive - Finding Homes for Domestic Abuse Survivors, For a Life Without Crime.

Social Media Updates
Home Connections & Homefinder UK

Since January 2018 until the present: responsible for updating content & creating artwork for social media channels for both Home Connections, a software non-profit company, and Homefinder UK, the national mobility scheme implemented by Home Connections. By the end of 2019, the number of followers of Homefinder UK's twitter increased 31% organically, generating an average of 30k impressions per month. On Facebook, the number of likes increased by 42%.

Official Social Media Channels
State Government of Piaui - Communications Coordination

Management and content creation for the official channels of the State Government of Piaui on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Linkedin between September 2012 and December 2014. The content included sharing Government news on a daily basis, giving live updates from official events, responding to queries raised & providing advice on public services. On Facebook, the page likes organically grew from 500 to over 5,300 & the Twitter profile saw a follower growth of 203%.

Brazilian Federal Senate Elections 2014

Updates official social media profiles of Wilson Martins, a politician who was running for the Senate Elections of 2014 in Brazil. The focus was on creating artwork, infographics and imagery to support content strategy developed by the campaign's Communications Manager. Other activities included scheduling posts, creating promo ads, uploading videos & responding to queries across channels (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter & Youtube).
