I am a fully qualified journalist with 15 years of experience in the print and online media. My grounding was gained at a busy Midlands newspaper group where I learned the basics of grassroots journalism before working my way up to the role of Group News Editor.
For the past five years I have been working on a self-employed freelance basis, during which time I have enjoyed success on a range of projects and commissions. I have written articles for a range of websites on topics including business, finance, health and travel to name just a few.
I compile a monthly business supplement and have just finished putting together all the editorial for two new standalone education magazines.

Tamworth has finished a runner up in the campaign to be crowned Britain's best town centre in the 2015 Great British High Street awards. Tamworth made it into the final three in the 'incredibly close' town centre category but was pipped to the post by Rotherham which was revealed as the winner at an award ceremony held at London's Admiralty House on Monday November 30.
