Lily Maxwell

Freelance copywriter and translator

Location icon United Kingdom

I am a trilingual, city-hopping freelance writer and translator who has a passion for all things urban. After studying French and Spanish language, literature and film at the University of Cambridge, I realised that my true calling was cities and sustainability and so I moved to Barcelona, an internationally-renowned smart city, to follow my dreams. Now I work with several European organisations and companies as a freelance writer, translator, and transcreator, working mainly on texts related to strategic marketing, luxury goods, smart cities and urban mobility. In my spare time, you can find me reading the latest work on smart cities in the Laie café in Barcelona, or carrying out a FutureLearn course on urbanisation in London’s Wellcome Library.
