A few cheap frees by Trinity caused Tallaght to take an early lead in the game. Two careless fouls by corner-back Jack O'Neill earned him two yellows leaving Trinity to pull back a minor deficit with 14 men. Trinity's Conor O'Carroll responded positively from the sending-off, scoring the game's first goal, his first of three, after hitting the post only moments before.

DCU Dóchas Éireann 2-5 University College Dublin 1-14 Ashbourne Cup quarter-final University College Dublin overcame DCU Dóchas Éireann with a strong second half performance in the quarter-final of the Ashbourne Cup on Tuesday evening, February 7th. The tone for the match was set after the opening score UCD's corner forward Úna Sinnott who slotted it over from the 21-yard line.

Gender neutral bathrooms wheeled out as bike scheme waits for funding - The College View

Each building in DCU will contain one gender neutral bathroom as part of an initiative suggested last year, according to LGBT chair, Mel Kavanagh. This will stretch across all DCU campuses. In a mandate proposed and accepted by the Class Rep Council, it was initially suggested that the signs on the toilets would be replaced, as this would be most effective.

Trinity to introduce Christmas exams by 2018 - The College View

Trinity College Dublin students have votes in favour of the introduction of Christmas exams beginning in the academic year 2018/19 according, to the Trinity Student Union. A total of 62 per cent of Fellows voted in favour which will result in a Christmas exam week being introduced at the end of semester one as well as an extra academic week.
