My creative projects and strong work ethics caught the eyes of several of my professors at F.I.T. In 2014, and I was offered the invitation to join and work for a team during New York Fashion Week as a Dresser and Stylist ongoing. Some of the designers she has worked with include: Nicholas K, Desigual, Todd Snyder, Kate Spade, Rebecca Minkoff, August Getty, Noon by Noor, Naomi Campbell, Porsche Design, Pamella Rolland, Vivienne Tam, Badgley Mischka, Michael Costello, Oscar de la Renta, Marchesa, Rachel Zoe, Sophie Theallet, Lacoste, Altuzarra, Tracy Reese, Prabal Gurung and Gabriela Cadena.
The brands I have developed derived from my personal experience with loss and adversities. On December 21, 2012, I lost my home and everything I owned due to a fire. After that tragedy, Iwas forced to start life over from scratch. I learned how to re-strategize and change every aspect of my life and perspective. In order to move forward and rebuild my life from that adversity with confidence. I epitomize the fire as the fuel that was lit under me to go after my dreams and stop procrastinating.
Recently I started the "Break the Mold Movement" and apparel line. Consisting of self-motivating attire derive from my personal sayings and quotes. It is her mission to help others "Conquer Adversities with Style."

There's a wise old saying, "You don't know what you've got till it's gone". Most would attribute this quote to relationships and people. For myself, it has a deeper meaning with a subtle twist. On Friday, December 21, 2012, which most documented as the end of the world I was faced with a harsh reality.
Let's face it life hits us all. Sometimes we can get so caught up in the hustle and bustle of taking care of everyone else. That we often forget to take care of ourselves. Allow me to be transparent for a moment. I took a hiatus from my career and the industry to reflect on life.
When I turn on the television, listen to the radio or stroll through social media. I'm reminded on a daily basis just how much the world has changed. It saddens me the images of womanhood the young ladies have today to emulate. Some ladies spend hours on newsfeeds viewing these images.
Are you tipping over? Seriously, has life become too overwhelming that you feel like you're about to crash? Are you being pulled in numerous directions? Is it hard for you to get rest a night, because you have a million thoughts going on in your head? Your thoughts feel like a ping pong game.
In this blog I would like to touch on a subject we all face at some time or another. No one is exempt from insecurities. We all have them but what matters most is how you conquer them. The truth is most insecurities come from other people and companions.
This is an interview I did with Alisha J on the topic of toxic relationships and connections. This was the most viewed interview!
