Kristina Cappuccilli

Ambassador at Large

United States

Kristina Cappuccilli graduated from Manhattanville College in May 2011 with a bachelor’s degree in Communications.

During her time as a college student, she interned at notable companies throughout Manhattan, including Bad Boy Entertainment and Cosmopolitan Magazine. The internships proved to be just as challenging and rewarding as she’d hoped, giving her loads of experience and teaching her that hard work actually does pay off.

After applying to editorial position after editorial position throughout the summer following graduation, she decided that getting a foot in the door was better than not having a job at all. For about a year, she worked as part of an administrative support team at an executive search firm in Manhattan. This first job served as a lesson in existing in the corporate world and also facilitated her ability to move out of her parents' house and into an apartment in Astoria.

As of October 2012, she waved goodbye to Job #1 as she took her first steps into the media world and welcomed Job #2. At MKTG INC, an experiential marketing company in the Meatpacking District, she started out at the bottom rung as receptionist. After seven months of answering phones and dipping her hands in any creative hat she could find, she was promoted to Assistant Event Manager, where she contributes to the execution of over 5,000 events per year in NYC alone. In addition to her role at MKTG INC, she serves as Blogger and Community Manager at Swoon, an online dating application available on all Android phones. She is responsible for creating the “voice” of Swoon, as well as generating daily editorial content featured on all social media channels.

A Guide to Living (As Told by #RHONJ)

Ladies, the jig is up. As much as we hate to admit it, and no matter how many times we deny (deny, deny), we all have one or two guilty pleasures that we’d prefer the world didn’t know about. As a matter of fact, one of my guiltiest (and perhaps, most shameful) pleasures re-entered my life. Yes, you guessed it, The Real Housewives of New Jersey premiered last night on Bravo TV.

I Am Woman: Diane Savino

If there’s one thing I’ve learned over the years, it’s that you don’t necessarily have to walk in someone’s shoes in order to empathize with the journey they make in them.

I Am Woman: Mom

In the spirit of Mother’s Day (for all you no-memory havin’ slackers, it’s this Sunday!), I thought it would be appropriate to scale it back and pay tribute to where it all started (literally).

I Am Woman: Sandra Fluke

In 2012, the face of the feminine perspective became synonymous with the face of Sandra Fluke, a Georgetown University Law Center student and women’s rights activist who stood up to the heat while everyone else searched for a seat in the back row.

If Ellen DeGeneres has taught us anything (besides the fact that laughter is definitely the best medicine), it’s that you should never be ashamed of who you are.

The next time you stop to consider where all the kindhearted celebrities have drifted off to (besides prison and rehab), remind yourself that they’re still out there. Sometimes, they even come in the form of a young Hollywood celebrity who happens to have her head on straight.

I Am Woman: Jennifer Lawrence

Among the many A-Listers that have continued to meet the above description, there is one name that comes bubbling up to the surface a bit faster than the others these days. Obviously, I’m talking about Jennifer Lawrence.

Click Three Times: An Interview With The Red Heels

What could these two new musicians tell me that I hadn’t already heard come out of previous artists’ mouths? I could tell you, but it might be more fun to let their lips do the talking. Tune out what you’ve heard and pay no mind to what you think you already know. Step outside of your bubble and take a peek into the wild side. The air is much better out here. Go ahead and jump. I dare you.

Tiny Ain’t So Tiny No More: OUAT Recap

Before watching last night’s Once Upon A Time, I had to step back and remind myself where it left off. That’s when I remembered The Giant visiting Storybrook, Regina teaming up with Cora, Belle’s memory loss, and Rumpel’s mission to find his son. Without further ado, here’s what you missed on OUAT.

OUAT Recap: There’s a Stranger in Storybrook

If I were a gambling woman, I’d bet that quite a few of our FTS readers are football fanatics who spent Sunday night pacing the living room and getting heartburn every time an interception was thrown (Sorry, Tommy boy. Too soon, Pats fans?). So for those of you who fit into this category, here’s what you missed on last night’s Once Upon A Time!
