Recent email marketing campaign I owned from creation to execution, including copywriting and A/B testing.
Hello! Welcome to my mini portfolio.
About me: I've been working as a professional writer and editor in some capacity since 2003. I've held positions as a magazine editor, a brand communications coordinator, a content writer, and a marketing communications manager.
My rich depth of experience results from a diverse and varied career working at start-ups, small, and large companies. After working in NYC in my 20s, I moved to Seattle, where for nearly a decade I wrote for a website part time while working full time as a mom. After several years working in marketing and communications at small start-ups, I am now a program manager for Amazon Explore and the team's de facto copywriter and editor, writing and editing everything from 50-plus page training documents to brief detail page descriptions and seller newsletters.
Super powers: Working autonomously on deadline, attention to detail, tenacity
In my free time I like to: go thrifting in search of eco-friendly gems, bake excessive amounts of muffins, read (of course), hang out with my two kids, drink wine, watch Wes Andersen movies, and binge on Ozark, Succession, and Schitt's Creek.

Sent to sellers as an email attachment, the intention of this training document is to break down a complicated process into clear, simple actions. I worked with our de-facto designer to pair words with graphics to break up the copy and to provide visual cues.
I have been writing and managing production and distribution of the weekly newsletter since August 2020.
I recently drafted this copy for the Amazon Explore jobs page, to encourage interest in the open positions.
This four-page training document I developed for sellers of custom products is currently available on Seller University. Amazon Explore team members later utilized it in an internal training document, citing the information to create standardized processes.
In December 2019, I quickly wrote these FAQs for the StyleSaver website.
In 2018, I researched and wrote a series of 11 retail product guides for Mom365.com, including this one.
As Hello Sitter's sole content creator, I concepted, researched, and wrote all copy, including this piece.
At start-up Hello Sitter, a childcare app in NYC, I wrote weekly blog posts like this one to spotlight the quality of care available through the service, and to build trust in the brand.
In the eight years I contracted with Mom365, I wrote dozens of "listicles" like this one, most of which were published to the website without any additional editing or review (eek!).
