2021 Earthquake in Haiti - THE HILL NEWS

The death toll from Haiti's 7.2 magnitude earthquake has grown to over 2,200, with over 300 citizens still missing, according to Haiti's Civil Protection Agency. The violent earthquake hit Haiti on Aug. 14, almost 11 years after the catastrophic quake that hit the country in 2010, which they are still recovering from.

Black Laurentian Initiative Meet with BIPOC Alumni - THE HILL NEWS

On March 7, 2021, a virtual zoom conference was held between members of the Black Laurentian Initiative (BLI) and Black alumni and Trustees. The COVID-safe conference was able to bring together alumni from past years as far back as 1976, and all ranged from various different careers and fields.
