Josie Campbell was born in Staten Island, NY, grew up in a small town Kodak, near the Smokey Mountains in East Tennessee. This is the first book written, assisted and inspired by an education at the University of Tennessee, life's work with animals, and being raised by English Professor and novelist Professor Claude Campbell, and colleague and close friend of Professor Campbell, Frank McCourt.
