Jose Medrano

Jose Medrano is an editor for the Crusader newspaper. A 2011 graduate from Liberal High School. Medrano has worked for the Crusader for two years and was selected to be editor his sophomore year. Under his leadership the Crusader has won two national awards, an All-Kansas, a gold medal and a first place online award. He recently received Kansas Journalist of the Year from Kansas Collegiate Media. He will transfer from Seward County Community College to the University of Kansas in the fall of 2013 to continue his studies.
