Leave the music and artistry to the person in the recording booth, right? Wrong. 100%. We can learn a lot from J Dilla, the MPC mastermind who is arguably the greatest hip-hop producer from the early millennia.

I love underground Hip-Hop and the counter-culture that spawns from going against the grain. Artists that belong to it flourish in their own light. Even more, there are entities out there that give artists a platform to create, perform, and thrive; a blank page with no strings attached - enter Stones Throw Records.
