Jimmy Frohman

I’m a technical writer, editor, and writing instructor with experience creating clear, user-focused content across multiple sectors, including financial technology, medical practice management, and electrical test and measurement.

My background includes technical documentation, marketing and support content, white papers, UX reviews, UX case studies, e-publishing, and document design. Across industries and formats, my work has centered on one goal: making complex information more usable, more consistent, and more accessible.

I care deeply about documentation quality. I have shown my high standards and innovative thinking in work with editorial standards, style guidance, information architecture, and the content/UX overlap. I enjoy working with subject matter experts, shaping content for audiences, and improving the structure and clarity of documentation systems.

My tool experience includes MadCap Flare, Paligo, Document360, Mintlify, Author-it, FrameMaker, RoboHelp, Confluence, Jira, SharePoint, Visio, Sketch, MediaWiki, and Adobe Creative Suite.

I also teach freshman composition and professional/technical writing at Youngstown State University, which keeps me connected to the craft of my profession and up-to-date on the field.
