I am a deeply inquisitive storyteller, creative writer (First Class Honours, University of Melbourne 2012) copywriter and lifestyle journalist. My main areas of interest are travel, health and wellness, sustainability, philosophy, spirituality, feminism and relationships.
My approach is always about finding ways to tell a story, to make words sparkle on a page, and to create content that’s not *just* content but rich, emotive, thought-provoking writing. Having said that, my writing style is often minimal and economic and I pride myself on being able to say more with fewer (more succinct) words.
I’ve worked as a journalist, social media manager and copywriter, so I understand communication from a variety of angles and across a range of mediums. I’ve written everything from front-page magazine features to billboards and radio ads.
My work has appeared in places like Dumbo Feather, The Weekly Review, domain.com.au, Kill Your Darlings, Mary Journal, Mornington Peninsula Magazine, pedestriantv.com and the Melbourne Writers Festival blog.
I live by the ocean on the Mornington Peninsula, where I teach yoga most days.
