Ivy Okoro

With her contagious smile, southern charm, and positive energy, Communications Specialist Ivy Okoro is a rising star young professional from Houston, Texas who blends her habits for creativity, professionalism, and unforgettable impressions into many of her recognized events, projects and community initiatives.

As a lifelong Houstonian and the daughter of immigrants, Ivy knows first-hand about the culture and energy of one of America’s most diversified cities, and all of the potential opportunities that has everyone moving down south! Therefore, the University of Houston graduate makes it her job to be front and center to help people come together and create incredible experiences, while building lasting relationships.

From emceeing major events, to consulting clients and organizations on their ideas, Ivy’s experience touches many avenues and continues to constantly expand daily. Some of the highlights of her career to date includes serving as the Senior Conference Coordinator for the 2014 Entrepreneurship Education & Effective Leadership Conference (NSB Worldwide), and the Public Relations Officer for African Fashion Week Houston 2014 (Fall of Signature Essence-FOSE). In addition, Ivy has continued to build relationships with notable organizations and individuals working in various industries and professions.

Recently, Ms. Okoro has taken her volunteer and freelancing work into the domain of her newest venture -
Evomah Communications, a multi-purpose communications and consulting firm specializing in personalized client servicing and engagement strategies designed to support, improve and grow the quality and value of our client’s professional, social and community affairs.

When she is not busy taking over the world, Ivy gives her time to various community, international and non-profit organizations like the Clean Water for Uganda Project, and pursues her own personal passions as a vocalist, writer, lifestyle maven, and public speaker.
