Donald J Pliner established a reputation designing some of the most pristine footwear and accessories. His art, which is inspired by over two decades of world travels, helped create a line that combined the exquisite taste of fashion, fit and comfort, into every design.
With Miami exponentially growing, buildings are going up and developments are bringing some of the most diverse restaurants to the Haute scene. EAST, Miami at Brickell City Centre, envisioned a signature restaurant that would fit the diversified cultural city, and they found just that.
Jorge Pérez, Chairman and CEO of The Related Group, has been named the honoree of the BCA leadership award. The BCA, Business Committee for the Arts, acknowledged Pérez for his commitment supporting the arts and inspiring other professionals to follow his lead.

Homestead Aviation Student Receives Scholarship Joaquin Mantovani, a student at the Eig-Watson School of Aviation at Homestead Campus, was awarded $7,500 in November by the Greater Miami Aviation Association-Bachelor Scholarship Fund. The GMAA scholarship is annually awarded to qualifying aviation students pursuing a career in the industry.
