Since childhood, I have been searching for answers about life, observing and wondering about people. I got my first journal when I was ten years old, and since then, I have been reflecting, creating, and working with words. After being published by small presses and blogs in Turkey, I moved to the United States in 2016 to study Teaching English as a Second Language, and my journey in writing in my second language started then.

A love letter to my hair

I had a dream last night. I was 17 in my 25 year old body. I got off the school bus, listening to radiohead. You float like a feather, in a beautiful world. Still best ever written lyrics. I walked through the school door with a few friends who looked 17.

Full Moon in Leo

Creativity starts before the canvas, the paint, the paper and pen, the camera, or any other tool. Creativity starts in childhood and simply pauses whenever we don’t want to take the risk of vulnerability.
