The art of telling a good story is at the heart of what Xinying is most passionate about as a writer and editor, no matter the medium; she is currently based in Kyoto, Japan.
In the past 14 years, she has written for Singapore and regional audiences for titles that include Tatler Asia, Her World, and Yahoo Singapore. Having covered a wide spectrum of subjects that include art, fashion, design, food and travel, she lets her natural curiosity and professional experience guide her in honing both her interest and depth of expertise in each topic.
When she does get an idle moment, Xinying loves exploring nature trails, discussing films and design, finding quality coffee joints, hunting for secondhand gems at thrift stores.
