Earlier on 1 August, the well known gaming live streaming website started accepting Bitcoin as a payment option for it's premium subscriptions. Twitch also that it will be bringing the new payment options for channel subscriptions as well.

Wikipedia starts accepting bitcoin donations - Coin Brief

On the 30 July added as a donation option among the 13 different payment methods. It seems like the non profit foundation behind Wikipedia was waiting for something. Compared to other non profit organisations, we could even say that Wikimedia could even be late to start accepting the digital currency for donations.

Japan may introduce Bitcoin regulations this week

After the tragedy of Mt. Gox, once the highest volume Bitcoin exchange, Japanese authorities are most likely already working on a plan of action to regulate the virtual currency. New guidelines will be issued by the cabinet, possibly later this week. A decision will be made for how the currency should be treated under the already existing laws.
