Christian Siriano has kicked off the New York fashion week season with a fabulous nod to Hollywood glamour accented with a splash of modernity. Siriano's extravagant shows have become somewhat of a tradition, either opening or closing fashion week.
Mugler has dropped a star-studded film highlighting their Spring Summer 2022 collection. Featuring supermodels, Adut Akech, Dominique Jackson, and Bella Hadid, the collection teaser was sure to turn some heads.
NYFW kicked off with Men's Day - one of our personal favorites because it brings out creativity in all. From androgynous non-gendered pieces to tailored suits and funky streetwear, there's something for everyone. Famed Japanese fashion designer, Issey Miyake has died at 84 years old. Miyake was a respected designer and well-known for his iconic perfectly fit turtlenecks (famously exclusively worn by Steve Jobs), his use of experimental fabrics and designs, and of course his pleats.
Beyoncé has announced the release date and visuals for her next Ivy Park collection. #IVYTOPIA will be available on adidas.com on July 21 and will be available in select stores globally July 22. The clothing collection will release just one week before Beyoncé's 7th studio album drops on July 29.
Overlooking NYC from the Public Hotel's rooftop, Marrisa Wilson debuted a vibrant collection rich with injections of the designer's rich Caribbean culture. Titled "of many waters," the collection is influenced by the natural beauty of Guyana - ripe with lush rainforests and trips down the river.

We saw shows from iconic fashion houses Schiaparelli, Iris Van Herpen, Dior, Chanel, Balenciaga, Margiela, Jean Paul Gaultier, Fendi, and many more.
As we emerge from the pandemic, life has changed entirely for many. With distance learning and working, a major shift in careers, locations, and relationship statuses, many feel brand new with fresh attitudes and a renewed sense of personal style to match.
