My name is Fatima Ahmed Elmusbahi. I am a writer, editor, marketer, and female health advocate (with a particular passion for all things pregnancy and fitness related). In my own spare time, I collate research to contribute to my up-and-coming podcast, which highlights the predominantly brushed under-the-rug societal issues women face in pregnancy and motherhood.
Despite becoming a mother only recently, I am passionately driven to become the best person I can be for me and my little one. Writing with intention and purpose is my ultimate motivator, and I happen to have collated multiple skills across my experience within a public relations and marketing agency (acting as head of content). Furthermore, my multiple liaisons across digital publications, in addition to my undergraduate degree in nutritional science, and my current undertaking of a master’s degree within marketing management have allowed me real hands on experience in being able to tackle all scopes of marketing, editorials and health combined.
Recent projects of mine include acting as lead copy editor for Supplements Reviews. This role requires ongoing, at the forefront nutritional research and analysis, to allow continuous adaptions and debates towards mainstream health topics such as menopause, hormonal imbalances and supplementations that are available to aid quality of living. I have also liaised with investors and their literature pursuits in the digital realm, creating e-books and web copy to support entrepreneurs listed on Forbes ’30 under 30 for Media and Marketing’. I currently enjoy undertaking creative editorials where I am required to gather research, interviews, and data to support arguments for press worthy tales across the spectrum of feminism, patriarchy and placement in the world between the two. I enjoy challenging modern day thought, and curating stories from the many people I have happened to network amongst within my career to date. Publications and marketing projects that highlight favourite editorial activities of mine include the Beacon Quarterly, WhyNow and Pregnant Chicken.
