Daniel Lawler is a senior technical documentation leader with more than 20 years of experience translating complex systems into clear, scalable, and high-impact content. He has built and led documentation programs across financial services, enterprise IT, defense, and SaaS environments, helping organizations improve product adoption, operational efficiency, and customer trust.

Currently a Senior Technical Writer at Astreya, Daniel partners with engineering, product, and infrastructure teams to develop and manage large-scale documentation ecosystems supporting multicloud networks, enterprise platforms, and mission-critical systems. He is known for transforming fragmented or outdated documentation into structured, searchable, and governance-driven knowledge assets.

Previously, Daniel spent over a decade at Fiserv, where he served as a Senior Technical Writer and documentation strategist, supporting enterprise banking platforms and leading global documentation initiatives. He later expanded his digital content and workflow expertise at Attorney’s Title Fund Services, strengthening governance and content delivery across multiple platforms.

Daniel brings deep expertise in SDLC documentation, Agile and Scrum environments, API and developer documentation, DITA/XML authoring, and knowledge management systems. He has also supported U.S. military programs and holds prior security clearance from his service as a U.S. Navy Electronics Technician.
