A high school journalism class ignited my lifelong passion for journalism. At Pitzer College in Claremont, CA, I wrote for publications including The Student Life, The Claremont Port Side and The Odyssey. Most importantly, I was Editor-in-chief of Pitzer's student newspaper, The Peel. I earned my BA in Political Studies and Sociology and graduated from Pitzer in May 2017.
Now I'm a reporting intern at the Santa Cruz Sentinel writing a wide variety of stories. Covering social justice and politics is my favorite.
