Claire Narensky

Writer & Clinical Herbalist

United States

As a writer and researcher, I aim to educate, heal, and connect people and the natural world. With a background in anthropology and ethnography, as well as extensive training and experience as a clinical herbalist, my work ranges from educational and informative pieces on the medicinal properties of plants, to projects focused on the intersection of culture, ecology, conservation, and integrative health.

I currently write, teach, and have an herbal medicine practice focused on women’s health in Hillsborough, North Carolina. I am highly organized and bring clarity, depth, and professionalism to the topics I write about.

I also have a long-standing devotion to the art of poetry, and was recently a finalist for Hillsborough's Poet Laureate position.
