United States

I am a Florida-based journalist with 13-plus years of experience writing for a daily newspaper.
Writing has been a life-long passion for me. My first article was published in the Dallas Times-Herald when I was nine years old. I was the sports editor of my high school newspaper. While attending Montreat College, I wrote for both the school newspaper and the local weekly newspaper. I was a sports writer, then the sports editor, for The Valdosta Daily Times for 13 years. I have also had articles published in the following publications: The Orlando Sentinel, Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Florida Times-Union, the Tampa Bay Times, the Sun-Sentinel (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.), the Ledger-Enquirer (Columbus, Ga.), The Augusta Chronicle, the Savannah Morning News, IHigh.com, Orlando Magic Magazine, In The Game Magazine, Valdosta Scene Magazine and Softball Magazine.
