Fareham College on Bishopsfield Road in Fareham is in the running to become Further Education (FE) College of the Year at the Times Educational Supplement (TES) Further Education Awards which highlights achievement in post 16 education.

Fundraisers abseil down the Gherkin, Cheesegrater and Walkie Talkie

Fundraisers are abseiling from London's tallest buildings - the Gherkin, the Cheesegrater, and the Walkie Talkie Over today participants will abseil the distance roughly equivalent to the height of 142 double-decker buses Challenge organised by The Outbound Trust in association with The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity They tower at such incredible heights that few of us could even look down from the top floor window without feeling queasy.

Service Family Accommodation Opens In Portsmouth

Three family flats were officially opened recently by Defence Minister Mark Lancaster, Naval Base Commander Commodore Jeremy Rigby and Chief Executive of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity (RNRMC) in Portsmouth Naval Base. These flats offer a home-from-home for Service personnel, with warm and welcoming environments for parents and their families.
