Nate Parker Sued By Longtime Friend Over 'American Skin' Screenplay

Nate Parker is being sued by his friend of over 20 years, claiming the actor/director ripped off his screenplay for the 2019 film, "American Skin." Writer Avan Hardwell says he wrote a screenplay titled "First and Constitution" in 2016 and obtained a copyright for the property the same year.

Rapper Flo Rida is being accused of refusing pleas by his baby mama to pay for their 6-year-old son's medical bills after the boy fell from a five-story window in March. HipHopDX reports that Alexis Adams wanted the rapper to kick in for the expenses, but Flo Rida refused, even though he was court-ordered in 2018 to provide child support for their special needs son.
