There is major irony in beginning a blog article with the adage "Don't believe everything you read." But after reading article after blog post after tweet, all with the same argument about the oldest sales strategy in the book, I just couldn't help myself from rebutting. Cold calling is not dead!

Jack Link's Beef Jerky Marketing Campaign

During my Strategic Communications Campaign course, I worked on a team to produce an all-encompassing marketing plan for Jack Link's upcoming calendar year. The project focused on how Jack Link's was going to build off of its advertising cornerstone "Messing With Sasquatch." We also developed a plan to make social media more central to Jack Link's marketing efforts.
