Twin Ports Broomball draws players for camaraderie, competition.

As the 2000 hit "Who Let the Dogs Out?" blasts over the Duluth Heritage Sport Center's sound system, the clatter of sticks hitting the ice and laughter can be heard. One might assume it is simply another hockey practice at the multi-rink facility in Duluth's Lincoln Park neighborhood, but this is no hockey practice, rather a game of open broomball organized by Twin Ports Broomball.

Fuse Duluth blends networking with fun for young professionals.

With three different colleges offering business programs, it should come as no surprise that Duluth is a hotbed for developing young professional talent. But with lucrative markets like the Twin Cities not far away, it can be hard for a city of Duluth's size to retain the talent it has produced, often watching it migrate 150 miles down I-35.
