I'm a Brooklyn-based journalist reporting on community-centered stories across New York City. My work can be found in outlets like Next City, Brooklyn Paper, the Red Hook Star-Revue, W42ST and The Chief.
I started my journalism career in elementary school, when I published a handwritten weekly paper covering local news for three years, and reported on events like the 2010 Winter Olympics for TIME For Kids.
I continued telling stories through high school and college as a TV news host, local reporter, editor of the school newspaper and director of three feature documentaries, one of which received a College Emmy.
For the past three years, I've been a freelance reporter in NYC filing stories on a wide range of beats, but with a particular focus on environmental issues, local business and nonprofits, education, and human-interest topics.
From 2023 to 2025, I got to tell the stories of students and educators across the country as a marketing associate for Equal Opportunity Schools, an education nonprofit. I am currently studying engagement journalism at the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism.
