I have developed my expertise in the field being a former athlete before pursuing a career in sports media. I am a freelance sports journalist, researcher, speaker, media trainer and anchor reporter based in the Philippines. I have covered Philippine sports governance, women in sports and social issues in sport.
I did a research on 'Investing in Women's Sports Content' for the the Australian Broadcasting Corporation's Women In News and Sport (WINS) program. My work has been featured in Splice Media, Les Glorieuses and Channel News Asia. I am an grant awardee of the International Center For Journalists (ICFJ) Newscorp Fellowship where I pursued a nation-wide data story about girls’ participation in sports and how women’s sports can help build the country.
