I am a 35-year-old copywriter with 7+ years of experience. From my earliest years of education, my innate creativity and enthusiasm for English language, grammar and literature were apparent in my love of writing and reading. Later, I came to appreciate the potential for professional fulfilment that this passion of mine held.
In years gone by, all my professional and educational endeavours have served to help me develop expert language, grammar, research, and observational skills – as I have a sharp eye for detail and a highly skilled researcher. Moreover, I am resolute in my drive to continually ugrade my craft and skillset.
What’s more, I really feel that my experience and education over the years have made me a very versatile writer, with the ability to think quickly on my feet and take the initiative, intuitively anticpating what's required of me and following instructions alike. I would definitely attribute my ability to maintain self-discipline to my many years of freelancing, which I feel is of utmost importance considering the current work atmosphere and how it's shifting to a preference for remote employees.
From competitor analysis and idea generation to creating content strategies to writing blog articles, press releases, video scripts, print ad copy and social media copy on a vast array of topics, I am no stranger to what makes for exceptional copy.
As a result, I am very apt at tailoring my copy to be persuasive, never agressively so - rather I prefer a more personable, relatable and authentic approach - in order to build trust and a positive association with the brand. Just as important, I always ensure that my copy is engaging, informative entertaining and provides value to the reader.
Naturally, the goal being that of converting leads into loyal customers and maintaining a high standard of copy for current customers by keeping them coming back for more. Furthermore, my software skills include Microsoft Office, Google Analytics, Google Ads and Facebook Ad Manager.
As a digital marketing all-rounder, I am continually analysing the ever-evolving online culture and user, which helps me to convey the desired brand image, voice and tone of the company, with a view to attracting the desired target market.
I also make a point of always ensuring brand consistency in all communications and content, which is essential for making a company more easily identifiable, familiar, and credible. That said, I am a strong believer in reinventing one's strategy, if the current one is not bringing about optimal results.
