Live Oak Park is a "GO" to Launch this Summer! | Bridgeland

March 8, 2020 Space may be the final frontier, but our children won't need to venture that far to explore "The Cosmos," the main playground piece in Live Oak Park within the Bonham neighborhood. Every park in Parkland Village has its own theme, and the design inspiration for Live Oak Park stemmed from this main structure.

"Windgrass" graces entrance in Bridgeland to become community's first major piece of art

If you have entered Bridgeland from Grand Parkway recently, you’ve probably noticed the bright orange-red linear rods adjacent to the Bridgeland monument sign. What you are witnessing is Bridgeland’s first major work of public art. Titled Windgrass, this dramatic, 26-foot tall sculpture was created by Konstantin Dimopoulos and is the artist’s only permanent installation in Texas.

For most students, the progression of their education after high school is an obvious choice to attend college. For students with intellectual and developmental disabilities, that choice is not always available - or even possible. However, at the Vanderbilt University Kennedy Center, the opportunity for an educational experience beyond high school exists through Tennessee's founding program called Next Steps.
