Andrew Rittler is a Strategic Public Affairs Leader with extensive experience in corporate communications and public affairs. With a strong background in developing and implementing innovative digital, internal, and external communication strategies, Andrew possesses advanced writing, strategic planning, and corporate communication skills. He is dedicated to supporting company initiatives and programs.

Currently, Andrew serves as a Senior Communications Specialist at Cherokee Federal in Euless, TX. In this role, he supports the development and implementation of communication strategies and outreach plans. Andrew coordinates information dissemination and stakeholder outreach, conducts stakeholder audits, and executes Project Management Office outreach plans. He manages the content of the PMO SharePoint homepage, disseminates timely and accurate information and materials, and oversees the production and distribution of PMO's weekly highlights. Andrew also drafts speeches, remarks, talking points, and other related documents for PMO Director and Division Directors.

In addition to his current position, Andrew is the Principal at Ravenstreet Partners in Fort Worth, TX. Here, he collaborated with brands to launch new services and products, developed and executed business development plans and identified key markets and effective communication strategies. Andrew increased brand awareness through social media management, optimized email campaigns, and executed comprehensive marketing plans. He also worked on digital strategies, SEO, content distribution, email marketing, and online advertising campaigns.

From 2014 to 2018, Andrew served as the Executive Director of the Texas Restaurant Association in Dallas, TX. In this role, he promoted industry growth by providing educational programs, public awareness campaigns, and government affairs initiatives. Andrew managed an operating budget of $500K, sold memberships to key accounts, and served as the chief lobbyist for local, state, and federal issues in the DFW Metroplex. He also implemented a vision for the association's social media policy, expanded the association's focus on value-added educational programming, and launched successful continuing education programs.

In addition, Andrew has held various positions throughout his career, including Economic Liaison at the United States Department of Veterans Affairs, Communications Director at Austin Industries, and Corporate Affairs Director at Cintra Developments Group. He has experience in managing teams, crisis communications, government affairs, media relations, and grassroots campaigns.

Andrew holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Communications from Salisbury University. During his time at the university, he was involved in extracurricular activities such as the Maryland Student Legislature, Speech and Debate Team, and Ultimate Frisbee Team.

What Is This Thing?

Every time I drive down LBJ Freeway, I wonder about the large structure being built on the northwest corner of Webb Chapel Road and the highway also known as I-635.
