Anthony Locascio

Stand-Up Comedian, Writer, Podcaster

Australia

Anthony Locascio is one of Australia’s most exciting stand-up comedians.

A sharp, modern storyteller blending incisive joke writing with reflections on heritage, identity, and the world at large.

After bursting onto the scene as a two-time NSW Raw Comedy State Finalist, Anthony built a reputation for fearless, thoughtful comedy that cuts through cultural clichés.
He has since toured nationally and internationally, with shows including Don’t Call Me A Wog! (2022), Heart of Darkness (2023), and the critically acclaimed PAPPOU (2024) — performed across Australia, London, New York, Canada, and New Zealand.

In 2024, Anthony filmed PAPPOU at a sold-out Enmore Theatre, fulfilling a lifelong dream and cementing his place as a fully-fledged international act.

He has performed multiple sold-out seasons at Sydney Comedy Festival, Adelaide Fringe, Brisbane Comedy Festival, Perth Comedy Festival, and Melbourne International Comedy Festival, and was selected for the prestigious Sydney and Perth Comedy Festival Galas in 2021 and 2022.

Anthony’s first special, Confirmation, filmed at a sold-out Sydney Comedy Store, is available worldwide on Amazon Prime and Apple TV.
His work has been described as:

★★★★★ “Anthony embodies the thinking man’s comedian, prepared to traverse the publicly taboo and unexplored recesses of the human psyche.” — Dark Stories Theatre
★★★★ “A great storyteller, who really paints a picture to get the audience enthralled.” — Upside Adelaide
★★★★ “Audience members jolting backwards in fits of laughter.” — Weekend Notes Melbourne
★★★★★ “He is one of Australia’s most talented rising stars.” — On The House Perth
