I began my writing career in 5th grade with a short story on killer squirrels. My teacher was inspired by my "extreme care and attention to detail." In high school I took three years of Journalism. I wrote articles for the school newspaper and proofread pages as the editor of the school yearbook.

When I traveled to Florida for college, my skills continued to grow as I dabbled in a wide variety of classes. I learned to write everything from lab reports and literary analyses to creative writing pieces and research papers.

In my last semester, I interned at Creative Loafing and wrote articles and blogs for the Food & Drink section. When the internship ended, I continued to write for them on a freelance basis. I learned about the book publishing industry when I began interning at Sahno Publishing shortly after college graduation. For almost 2 years, I was the marketing manager at a law firm where I had a variety of duties including blogging, managing the social media sites, researching advertising opportunities, and creating advertisements with Adobe Creative Suites. I have since lived in Melbourne, Australia interning under Caitlin Iles. Now I am a freelance writer looking to help your company's content soar.
