My AHA Moment:
Lead generation can’t work effectively without a streamlined customer journey and a targeted value proposition. Any leader of Marketing should understand the tools, technology and be able to write, but the best will work with sales, product, and customer success teams to streamline where, when, and how customers (prospects) are communicated with, and create a message that articulates value. Do this well, and lead and revenue generation follows suit.

To this point, I pay attention to both the strategy and the tactics that deliver this well. That means the engine and the gasoline.

On a personal note, I am at my best when I am uncomfortable - which means building teams or seeking environments where I am not the smartest person in the room.
