Aisling Moloney - Journalist, Presenter, Newsreader
Here is a short showreel of my recent TV, radio, and digital reporting for RTÉ News.
My name is Aisling Moloney. I am a multi media journalist from Ireland.I have over seven years experience working in different newsrooms both in Ireland and abroad, and I have completed a bachelor's degree in Journalism and New Media with Economics from the University of Limerick.
My beat is general news reporting with a focus on interviewing real people and sharing their stories and the impact of the news on their lives. I also have an interest in reporting on climate change, as I attended COP26 for RTÉ News as a mobile journalist, producing, shooting and editing original digital content. I also pitched and produced an original series on gender based violence for Morning Ireland in June 2022 ahead of the publication of the government's new strategy on the issue.
I am currently working for Ireland's public service broadcaster, RTÉ, on their flagship news programme Morning Ireland on RTÉ Radio One. My previous experience includes; reporter with RTÉ News SixOne, presenting and reporting with news2day, RTÉ's children's news programme, reporter with the Sunday Business Post, reporter and newsreader with Live 95 FM in Limerick, and SEO reporter with Metro.co.uk in London.
